This piece was built around two old windows that a friend gave me. The cabinet sides and lower doors are reclaimed 1 x 12 pine paneling. Zinc counter top.

Here are some photos of the latest project that I have been working on with John Brigham. Also involved in the planning and construction were Karl Lundeen, Nate Brigham, and West Fletcher. The painters on this project were Daniel Brennan and Dana Hartley.

The counter tops have not been installed. There will be pewter counters on the breakfast bar and soapstone on the remainder. Below you will see a step back hutch with a built in mini frig and custom red copper panels.
It’s been a while since my last post. I have been working with John Brigham (Brigham’s Furniture) on a local farm house that is being refurbished. The house is over a hundred years old. Following are some photos of some pieces that we have done:
A peek through the door at one of the bathroom vanities (above).

Counter tops made from reclaimed pool table slate (above).
Bar area. Black walnut counters (by others).

A set of built-in dining room drawers. Drawer faces are western red cedar.

Bottom drawers have a glass display area built into the front for dishes/art.

This was a special request: a door to cover a recessed flat screen. It also serves as a frame for this customer’s art work.

I built this piece for my wife a couple of years ago. (I apologize for the poor quality photos–that’s what happens when I take them myself)
Copper counter surface (Brighams style).

Copper door panel.

This is another job that I worked on for John Brigham (along with Seth Hock, Karl Lundeen and West Fletcher). John has developed a unique and recognizable style of furniture/cabinetry, I’ve enjoyed working with him since 1996. (About half of the work I do currently is for John.)

Cabinets were made from reclaimed douglas fir.
…and a shot of their son’s funky bathroom vanity–just for kicks.
