This is a desk that I’m building for White on White Design in Mill Valley, California. The desk is a little over 8 1/2′ long. The top (pictured below) is made from reclaimed vertical grain douglas fir. I’ll post some better pictures when it’s finished.
Here’s a preview of another hanging bed. As you can see, it’s still a work in progress. The bed will hang from the client’s ceiling with 1 1/4″ diameter rope. I’ll post some better shots of the finished project once it is installed.

This round door armoire (with steel panel) is from my “Richard Louis” collection.
This armoire was built for John Brigham. I wish I could take credit for the funky paint job, but it was done by one of John’s painters. I like how it turned out.
Materials used: reclaimed douglas fir and paint that was saved from the landfill.
These paintings were done by a friend of mine, Carol Paquet (www.CarolPaquet.com and www.CorkStopStudios.com). I was commissioned to make an appropriate frame for the two pieces. This is what I came up with. (Made from reclaimed red wood).
Custom cabinetry built around a set of refrigerated drawers. Steel bracket detail on the drawer fronts, and a Brigham’s style copper top.

This is a Brigham’s style bowfront that I built for my wife.
Notice how the plaster finish naturally chips and cracks, giving an authentic feel to the piece.
This was a special request built for John Brigham. A magazine/ newspaper rack built on wheels from an old factory cart.
