Custom Half Moon Bench

I am putting the finishing touches on a custom upholstered Half Moon bench. It ships out to New York at the end of the week. This is by far the most colorful Half Moon bench I have done yet.

Steel-Clad Side Table

Today I dropped off this cubodron steel-clad side table at Ashley & Vance Engineering to go with one of my upholstered benches (that they already had). They finally got their logo up on the wood wall we did last year.Cubodron table / Half Moon Benchsee more from our cubodron accent table collection

Half Moon Bench Makes it’s Debut at Ember Restaurant

I delivered two of my new Half Moon benches to Ember Restaurant today. This new bench design is not officially for sale yet but chef/owner, Brian Collins, saw my prototype in the works and ordered a few for the foyer at Ember (which by the way is the best new restaurant on the central coast of California!).IMG_4161The bench top is reclaimed douglas fir. The base is welded steel.

Chair Progress

It’s hard to believe it’s been 4 months since I started mocking up this chair (original posting here)! Somehow the paying jobs always seem to take precedence over the fun stuff. Nevertheless, the chair made its way back to the work bench today. I finished mocking up the steel legs and wooden seat and back.
