Sculpture

Ben's sculptural work is an expression of reverence for the creation and ultimately the Creator, God. He seeks to exemplify redemption by carving new life into discarded wooden debris.

His current work, the Adelaide Series, are abstract sculptures carved from salvaged tree stumps and root balls. Ben came across a large pile of charred walnut tree debris back in 2016. The stumps had been burned but due to the high moisture content of the wood, the fire only charred the outside of the wood pieces, leaving behind some beautiful shapes. Inspired by the natural beauty, Ben began hauling the charred pieces home and carving them. Please contact Ben for more information and pricing.
