My newest son, Oliver, was born on the 17th, so I took the week off. After a couple of days I got stir crazy and found myself mocking up this baby seat on our back patio. Once the project was started I couldn’t stop. Here’s a few photos of Ollie’s new rocking chair frame. I will post an update when we get the leather seat made.
I’ve been playing with this chair prototype for a year and a half now and finally starting to get somewhere. I just remade the seat using some figured walnut. The legs are steel with exposed welds.back to benridderingdesign.com
I am putting the finishing touches on this custom upholstered Half Moon bench. It ships out the end of this week to a designer in New York. When I told her we could customize the upholstery she had this Pierre Frey linen sent from Paris. This is by far the most colorful Half Moon bench I have done yet. Below are a couple of shots of the reclaimed oak bench base in process.
Today I dropped off this cubodron steel-clad side table at Ashley & Vance Engineering to go with one of my upholstered benches (that they already had). They finally got their logo up on the wood wall we did last year.see more from our cubodron accent table collection
Two new club chair mockups. Which one should we put into production? Leave your vote on instagram or on our Facebook pageBoth designs would be metal-clad on the outside, and upholstered on the inside. The chair on the right would have wooden legs.
We finally got some good photos of Half Moon bench up on the website. The Half Moon is now available with a number of different options including upholstered and metal-clad bench tops.
